Western Standard’s Code of the west

Saloon Lager should pretty much sell it self right? Maybe do a beard wax partnership, throw around the word “craft” a few times and call it a day?

That probably would have worked BUT it wouldn’t have helped us show how we’re different…and Western Standard is actually different. High West Bourbon founder and capitalist David Perkins wanted a lighter bourbon barrel aged beer that you could actually drink (and sell) more than one of, thus Western Standard was born.

We created ‘The code of the west’ as a sort of equal opportunity nod to our western roots—a way for us to tie in the true spirit of the west without leaning on wagons or wanted posters. And yes, we also found a way to make sessionability sexy without sending you to go to spin class *cough* Michelob.
