Handcrafted is so hot right now
The maker movement is sweeping the nation. If it isn't handcrafted, bespoke, or made-to-order people aren't interested. (Although who are we kidding, where there's a will there's a way.) After tiptoeing through the landmines Jared Fogle left for us (who knew tomatoes could be sexual) we came up with a way for Subway to join the custom-made conversation.
The ask was to create something that promoted Subway's seemingly endless customization. With no children in it. We created a series of maker movement parody videos, stills, and cinemagraphs to show just how much love goes into each and every custom creation. With a heaping side of sarcasm.
We don’t dictate the flavor of our bacon. We prefer gentle persuasion.
Every morning we whisper the latest gossip in our tomato's ear. How else would they get juicy enough for our Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki?

We transformed our Instagram feed into our own handcrafted version of the bins you see in store—each image block filled with one of our fresh ingredients. Behind each veggie tile was it's corresponding parody video.
